Storytelling has always been a part of Ellen’s life, and she followed that love to the Walt Disney Company, where she became a creative executive, and over 13 years, rose from intern to Senior Vice President, heading up the Creative Affairs department at DisneyToon Studios. She has worked in series development, current programming, television specials, and both theatrical and direct-to-video films.
Ellen left Disney in 2006 to pursue her personal writing aspirations as a screenwriter in feature films and television. She excels at creating thematically resonant, emotional stories and skillfully constructing unique, imaginative worlds. Ellen also teaches story development for Emerson College.
